Unknown armed men have shot dead two military personnel and wounded one other in Paghman district of Kabul, Kabul police confirmed.
The incident took place today, June 29, around 07:55 AM in Arghande Payeen area of Paghman district, said Ferdaws Faramarz, spokesperson for Kabul police. He added that an investigation is underway to probe the case.
The deadly attack against the military personnel comes a day after another attack against a security outpost in the far western part of Kabul city.
Armed men attacked the checkpoint in Chehel Dukhtaran neighborhood, in PD13, last night. But they were forced to flee the area.
No one was killed or wounded in the attack.
The two attacks went unclaimed.
