Taliban forces detained a former army commando and two shopkeepers in the northeastern province of Panjshir.
The former soldier, identified as Romal, was taken into custody by Taliban intelligence in Frobal village on Sunday. He is reported to have been unemployed since the fall of the previous government.
No information has been provided about circumstances of the two shopkeepers.

Local Taliban officials have not commented.
Since taking control of Afghanistan, the Taliban has often detained residents of Panjshir Province and surrounding areas on allegations of collaborating with the National Resistance Front (NRF).
