Woman Murdered in Kapisa Province

The Taliban security officials report that a woman was killed by one of her husband’s relatives in Kapisa province, in the northeast part of Afghanistan.

This incident occurred in the Kaaloutah village of Hese Do — 2nd district — of Kapisa province on Tuesday, November 15, Abdul Fatah Fayez, the spokesperson of the Taliban security command, told Kabul Now.

A 35-year-old woman was killed by her brother-in-law’s son with a hunting rifle. The manner of the murder and the motive behind this incident is not clear as of the writing of this news story, while an investigation is currently underway, Abdul Fatah Fayez added.

An increase in the number of murder cases and crimes has been reported in some provinces in the country. In the last 24 hours, at least three cases of murder have been reported from across Afghanistan.
