A roadside blast injured at least eight people in the 5th district of Kabul city, the Taliban police in the capital city has confirmed. The blast targeted a vehicle carrying employees of the Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development.

The incident took place today in Karte Mamorin area of ​​Kabul’s 5th district, according to Khaled Zadran, spokesman for the Taliban’s police chief in Kabul.

A total of eight people were wounded and taken to hospital, he added.
