At least four people lost their lives and 13 others were injured when a 303 bus collided with a Corolla car on Herat-Turghondi highway, a local source said.
Ebrahim Mohammadi, in charge of Herat Ambulance, said the incident took place on Monday evening, May 24.
One of the injured is in critical health condition, he said.
The victims were taken to Herat district hospital.
As early as Friday, May 21, eight people were injured in a traffic accident.
Drivers’ recklessness coupled with a poor road infrastructure is the main cause behind most traffic accidents in Afghanistan.
