KABUL, AFGHANISTAN – A man has killed his wife and parents in Adraskan district of Herat province, local sources confirmed.
The incident occurred on Saturday night (May 24) in the village of Gallay Tut, following what sources described as a verbal altercation between the man and his family members.
According to the reports, the man beheaded his wife and fatally stabbed both his father and mother.
The motive for the killings remains unclear.
The Taliban police command in Herat has confirmed the incident, stating that a man murdered three members of his family.
Authorities added that the cause of the attack is still under investigation and efforts to apprehend the suspect are ongoing.
