KABUL, AFGHANISTAN – At least 11 Hazaras were killed and six others injured in an armed attack by unidentified individuals in the border region between central Daikundi and Ghor provinces, local sources reported.
Speaking with KabulNow, the sources said that the incident took place this afternoon, September 12, in the village of Palosang, near the border between Daikundi and Ghor provinces.
According to the sources, the victims were Daikundi residents traveling from Sangtakht district to welcome pilgrims returning from Karbala, Iraq, when they were ambushed by armed individuals.
