Traffic accidents kill two and injure six in Badakhshan province

Two people were killed and six others were injured in three separate traffic accidents in northeastern Badakhshan province on Wednesday.

The first accident occurred in the Raghistan district, when a Corolla-type car veered off the road, killing a woman and injuring four others, including two children and another woman.

The second accident happened in Tagab district on Wednesday afternoon, when a motorcycle rider collided with a girl, injuring both of them.

In the third accident, a Fortuner-type car collided with a motorcyclist, killing the motorcyclist.

Traffic accidents have increased in Afghanistan in recent months. Poor road conditions, driver carelessness, and non-compliance with traffic regulations are some of the main factors that contribute to traffic accidents in the country.
