Iranian Interior Minister, Ahmad Vahidi, has called on the Taliban to improve border management and guarding principles in order to prevent further clashes.
According to IRNA, Vahidi said that Iran was in constant contact with the Taliban and that the “borders are calm at the moment.”
Over the past two years, there have been several violent clashes between the Taliban and Iran.
Last month, Two Iranian border guards and one Taliban fighter were killed during a day of firefight between the two side in Nimroz province.
