Taliban minister accuses the world of undermining youths’ trust in the group

The Taliban Minister of Higher Education, Neda Mohammad Nadeem, in a visit to eastern Paktika province, voiced concern over global efforts aimed at sowing seeds of mistrust among the youth towards the Taliban government.

Addressing a gathering at Paktika University on Saturday, Nadeem emphasized the crucial role of university professors in fostering a harmonious mindset among the young generation.

“In our system of Islamic Emirate, there is only one Islamic leadership, deterring any attempts to divide our youth into groups,” Nadeem said.

Assuring the professors of their commitment, the Taliban minister pledged to address all material and spiritual challenges faced by universities.

Nadeem, who banned women from universities last December, urged professors to shield students’ thoughts for “foreign thoughts ideologies”.
