Two Taliban members rape a woman and her teenage daughters in Sar-e-Pul province

Sources in the northern Sar-e-Pul province confirmed to KabulNow that two Taliban members have raped a woman and her two teenage daughters after forcibly entering their house and tying their hands and feet.

A source who spoke to KabulNow on Wednesday and asked not be named, said that the Taliban members have been identified as Tahir and Nadir. The teenage girls, the source said, were 12 and 14 years of age.

The victims, the source said, were rescued by their neighbours the following morning.

The 12 year old girl has been taken to hospital.

In a video footage shared with KabulNow, the woman is seen crying as she tells her story.

Moreover, sources have revealed to KabulNow that despite repeated requests by local elders, the case remains unaddressed as the two rapists are close associates of the Taliban governor in Sar-e-Pul, who are intentionally sabotaging the case.

Local Taliban officials have not commented.
