Taliban arrests two Swedish Committee for Afghanistan employees in Nangarhar

Local sources have confirmed to KabulNow that the Taliban has arrested two Swedish Committee for Afghanistan (SCA) in the Spin Ghar district of the eastern province of Nangarhar.

A source in the SCA has confirmed the news but provided no details on the circumstances of their detention.

Founded in 1980 in protest against the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan, the SCA is a Swedish a non-governmental humanitarian organisation, providing education, health care, disability support and rural development services in Afghanistan.
