Taliban arrests a former army soldier and a farmer in Panjshir

The Taliban has arrested two people in the north-eastern Panjshir province, accusing them of cooperating with the anti-Taliban National Resistance Front (NRF).

Zakaria, a former Afghan army soldier, and Mohammad Saber, a farmer, were arrested on Sunday.

The Taliban has been widely accused of detention and extrajudicial killings of civilians and members of the NRF members, particularly in Panjshir province.
