Sources in Panjshir province have told KabulNow that Taliban officials have continued to seize private properties from people in Shotul and Anaba districts.
The group began seizing land and properties from locals in the districts three months ago. About 500 acres of land have been seized in the two districts.
“They have seized houses, orchards and lands from people, claiming they belong to the Emirate,” a source told KabulNow.
The Panjshir province has been one of the provinces where the armed anti-Taliban group, the National Resistance Front of Afghanistan (NRF) has been most active.
