Keren Dicker, the Chargé d’Affaires at the US Mission to Afghanistan based in Qatar, says that she has travelled to Turkey and will speak with different groups of Afghans, including women activists and journalists.
“I am here to learn how Afghans abroad are connected to Afghans in Afghanistan. Building on a dialogue begun last week in the UAE and one of many trips planned to meet Afghan people where they are”, Keren Decker said in a tweet on Tuesday.
She previously stated that the US will use all its diplomatic and political efforts to make the Taliban fulfil their obligations to respect human lives and human rights.
Keren Decker has added that she is deeply concerned about human rights in Afghanistan, which she believes, is inseparable from America’s security interests.
