Embassy of Pakistan has announced it provides temporary shelter for around 4,000 Pakistanis who are stranded in Afghanistan after closure of flights to Saudi Arabia.
In a press release sent to media on Monday, July 05, the embassy added that it has made arrangements for the stranded Pakistanis in order to facilitate their return to Pakistan.
“These Pakistanis are being provided decent place for temporary stay at Embassy and provided food, buses, and cash grant for their return to Torkham and travel to their home towns in Pakistan,” the embassy stated.
Last Sunday, July 04, Saudi Arabia banned travel to and entry from Ethiopia, UAE, Vietnam, and Afghanistan for a period of 14 days over fearing spread of the coronavirus from these countries.
