Explosion kills four people in Kabul

At least four people were killed and more than four others were wounded in an explosion targeting a vehicle in PD6 of the capital Kabul, a security official said.  

Ferdaws Faramarz, the spokesperson for Kabul police, said the incident took place around 1:45 PM today, June 03, in Chahar Qala road.

According to him, the casualty toll is likely to rise.

Those wounded were taken to hospital for treatment.

No group has claimed responsibility for the attack.

This is while, at least ten civilians lost their lives and 12 others wounded after two consecutive roadside bombs targeted public transport mini buses in PD3 of the capital Kabul on Tuesday evening, June 01.

Though most targeted killings remain unclaimed, the Afghan security and intelligence officials blame the Taliban for targeted violence.
