Death toll of Logar attack rises, 24 civilians killed and 110 wounded

At least 24 civilians were killed and 110 wounded in Logar attack, according to Deedar Loong, spokesperson for Logar governor.

Tariq Aryan, the spokesperson for the Ministry of Interior (MoI), said on Friday, April 30, a car bomb went off in PD1 of Pul e Alam, the provincial capital of Logar province, which killed 12 women, 16 children, and 11 employees of the Naeeb Aminullah Khan Hospital.

Mr. Aryan blamed the Taliban for the blast.

No group has claimed responsibility for the blast yet.

Located in the southern part of the country, Logar is an insecure province where the Taliban controls swaths of the territories.
