Operatives of the National Directorate of Security (NDS) have arrested a key member of the Islamic State Khurasan Province (ISKP) in the capital Kabul. The culprit was suspected of notorious cases of crime such as abduction and sodomy, according to the office of the First Vice President of Afghanistan.
Issuing a statement today, Saturday, April 10, the VP office identified the ISKP member as Ghulam Naser Al-Khurasani, who according to the statement, has been behind dozens of terrorist attacks in the capital.
Al-Khurasani had kidnapped a 14 years old teenager from the western neighborhood of Kabul and took the teenager to Tala Wa Barfak district of the northern Baghlan province, as per the account of the VP office. He killed the teenager after torturing and raping him.
According to the statement, Al-Khurasani was a fugitive who lived covertly in Kabul and was arrested in PD8 of Kabul city by the NDS operatives.
