Roadside bomb kills three civilians in southern Afghanistan

Three civilians were killed and four others were wounded after their vehicle hit a roadside bomb on Kandahar-Trinkot highway, a local official in Urozgan province confirmed, today, Saturday, March 13.

Mohammad Omar Shirzad, the governor of Urozgan province, said that the incident took place on Saturday, March 13. Those who lost their lives include two men and a child. Three children and a woman were injured, according to Mr. Shirzad.

No group has claimed responsibility for the explosion.

But the governor blamed the Taliban for the explosion.

The insecure province of Urozgan is located in the southern part of the country where the Taliban militants control swaths of territories.
