Health authorities confirm 81 new Covid-19 cases

As new wave of the pandemic Covid-19 spreads in the country, the Ministry of Public Health (MoPH), on Monday, October 05, confirmed that 81 people tested positive for Covid-19 over last 24 hours in Afghanistan.

Yesterday, the MoPH announced that the country had recorded 39 positive cases of Covid-19 over last 24 hours.

According to government statement, these new cases of Covid-19 were recorded in Kabul (5), Herat (41), Daikundi (24), Takhar (2), Bamyan (4), Kunduz (2), Parwan (1), Kandahar (1), and Wardak (1) provinces.

The new wave of Covid-19 spreads while the country is grappling with a number of challenges.
