Gunmen shot dead head of traffic department in Kapisa

Sayed Muneer, head of traffic department in Kapisa, was shot dead by unknown gunmen on Monday, June 01, say local security authorities.

Abdul Shaiq Shorish Kohistani, the spokesperson for Kapisa police chief, confirmed to Kabul Now that the accident took place at around 08:00 a.m. today in Qala-e-Sayed Khan area of the province. Mr. Kohistani said that the gunmen have made a successful escape but investigation by the police is underway to arrest the culprits.
