Kazem Ehsan is a journalist and human rights advocate from Afghanistan. He obtained his bachelor’s in commerce and communication from Kurukshetra University. He pursued a master’s degree from Mysore University, although it remains unfinished due to the fall of Afghanistan to the Taliban in August 2021.Between 2014-2021, he worked with various human rights and media organizations in Afghanistan, including working as a cultural blogger for the International Psychosocial Organization (Ipso) and as Program Manager for the Afghanistan Human Rights and Democracy Organization (AHRDO). Additionally, he has worked as a freelance journalist and translator for different media outlets within Afghanistan.Kazem Ehsan has been working as a journalist for KabulNow since October 2022. Besides, he started working as an Open Society Foundation ACF Fellow with KabulNow in June 2023.
