Man strangles 25-year-old woman to death in Sar-e Pol province

Taliban security officials in Sar-e Pol province have reported that a 25-year-old woman was killed by an unknown man in Kohistanat district.

According to the Taliban security command in Sar-e Pol, the murder took place on Tuesday in Jarghan village, where the victim, identified as Khadija, was strangled to death by a man whose identity has not been disclosed.

The alleged perpetrator initially fled the area but was later apprehended.

The motive behind the murder remains unclear.

This is the second murder case to be reported in Sar-e Pol province in recent days. Last week, a 19-year-old man was killed by unknown gunmen in Sancharak district.

Following the Taliban’s takeover of Afghanistan, the country has witnessed an increase in mysterious killings. These incidents raise concerns among citizens of the country, given the Taliban’s claims of ensuring security throughout the country.
