AFF claims killing and injuring seven Taliban members in Kabul

The Afghanistan Freedom Front (AFF), an armed anti-Taliban group, has claimed that its forces killed two Taliban members and injured five others in an attack at the Kabul-Parwan gate on Thursday morning.

In a Persian statement on the social media platform X (formerly known as Twitter), the AFF said that the attack took place at around 1:30 a.m. local time in Qarbagh district in the northern part of Kabul city.

The AFF said that none of its forces were harmed in the attack.

The Taliban has not yet commented on the attack.

The two main groups engaged in armed clashes with the Taliban, the Afghanistan Freedom Front (AFF) and the National Resistance Front (NRF) have intensified their attacks against Taliban forces in a number of provinces in recent weeks.

In the past months, the groups have claimed to have killed and injured dozens of Taliban members in Kabul, Parwan, Baghlan, Kunduz, and Badakhshan provinces.
