Woman injured and her newborn killed in gunfire in Jowzjan province

Local sources in the Sheberghan capital of Jowzjan province said that a woman sustained injuries and her newborn was killed in the city when unknown gunmen opened fire at them on Monday.

Taliban officials in the province have confirmed the incident.
