Local sources in Arghanj Khwah district of the northeastern Badakhshan province say that Taliban gunmen have killed two former members of security forces in the previous government and a madrasa student.
According to a source who didn’t want to be named, Samiullah was a former police officer and Haji Abdi was a former commander in the public mobilisation force.
The two men and the madrasa student were murdered in separate incidents, the source added.
Taliban officials in the area have not commented.
