Heather Barr criticises Al Jazeera for providing platform to Taliban

Heather Barr, Associate Women’s Rights Director at Human Rights Watch (HRW), criticized AlJazeera for publishing an article by the Taliban’s Foreign Minister, Amir Khan Muttaqi.

“Shame on you, AlJazeera, for offering up your platform for the Taliban to spout unchallenged lies,” HRW Director tweeted on Friday using the hashtag #genderapartheid.
