Unknown Armed Men Killed a Hazara Man in Uruzgan

Sources in Uruzgan province, in the centre of Afghanistan, report that a Hazara man was killed by unknown armed individuals in this province.

Ali Madad Sharifi, the victim, according to the sources, is a resident of the Khas Uruzgan district of Uruzgan province and was accompanying his girl doctor, who was working as a doctor at a clinic in a predominantly Pashtuns area in the “Chaka Joy” area of “Chenartoi” district of Uruzgan province.

According to the source, Alimdad Sharifi climbed a hill [to get better signal coverage] on Sunday, October 22 to make a call to his family, and on the way back to his place of residence, he was attacked by unknown armed individuals and was killed.

So far, the reason for this man’s murder is not clear.

So far, the Taliban security officials in Uruzgan province have not said anything in this regard.
