A Former Soldier Killed in Uruzgan Province

A former soldier was shot dead in the city of Tirin Kut, the capital of Uruzgan province, after a verbal dispute with another person, local sources told Kabul Now.

Ehsanullah Hamas, the spokesman of the Taliban governor of Uruzgan province, says that this incident took place last night Thursday, October 13, 2022.

According to Hamas, the dead person’s name is Faizullah, and he was shot dead after a verbal argument with another person named Nani.

According to Hamas, Faizullah was working in the military sector of the former government.

This is despite the fact that since the Taliban’s return to power in Afghanistan, the killing of army personnel and former government employees has increased throughout the country, especially in Uruzgan province in the south of the country.

In most cases, the Taliban have been accused of arresting, torturing and killing former soldiers. This group has always denied these accusations.
