Afghanistan records 96 new Covid-19 cases in last 24 hours

As many as 96 people tested positive for Covid-19 over past 24 hours in Afghanistan, the Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) announced today, Sunday, October 11.

Recording the highest number over last 24 hours, Herat province has recorded 61 new Covid-19 cases, according to the MoPH.

Four people, infected by coronavirus, have passed away in the past 24 hours, the Ministry reported.

In Afghanistan, the total number of people infected by Covid-19 reach 39799, and 1477 Covid-19 patients have passed away while 33114 others have recovered, according to official figure.
