Afghanistan records 7,653 cases of Covid-19

Afghan health authorities have confirmed that total positive cases of Covid-19 has reached 7,653 in Afghanistan. 178 Covid-19 patients have died and 850 people, who were infected by the virus, have recovered, according to official figures.

The ministry of public health confirms that five people, who were infected by the virus, have lost their lives over past 24 hours in the country.

With 165 new cases of the Covid-19, the capital Kabul stands on the top of the list, followed by the western Herat province.

The pandemic coronavirus continue to climb while a number of businesses in capital Kabul have been reopened. Kabul streets are chock-a-block with cars and crowd of people move wherever they want. But the Afghan government has not officially lifted up lockdown and security forces exercise a loose control over public movement in the capital.
