Afghanistan confirms 4,033 Covid-19 cases

The Afghan health authorities have said that confirmed Covid-19 cases reached 4,033 people across all 34 provinces. 115 people, who were infected, have died and 502 Covid-19 patients have recovered, according to official record.

This comes while the Afghan public health minister, Ferozuddin Feroz, has also tested positive. Reports say that Minister Feroz in “good condition”.

Major cities have been placed under a loos lockdown since nearly a month ago. But majority of the people find themselves compelled to break the restrictions as they are highly dependent on their daily wage businesses.
