Official record shows that 665 people have tested positive for Covid-19 in Afghanistan. Afghan health authorities have confirmed 21 deaths, so far.
Wahidullah Mayar, spokesperson for the Public Health Ministry, speaking at a press conference, today, Monday, April 13, said that 58 new cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed in the country in the past 24 hours. With 58 new cases of the pandemic coronavirus, the total number of cases reached to 665, according to official record.
The rapidly spreading fatal pandemic has exposed the country to a tough time, with political crisis over 2019 disputed presidential elections continuing.
