Kabul, Afghanistan – A shipment of humanitarian assistance from Turkmenistan has arrived in Balkh province to support victims of last week’s powerful earthquake that struck northern Afghanistan.
According to a statement from the Taliban’s provincial governor’s office in Balkh, the aid convoy was received on Saturday (November 8) at the Aqina border crossing. The shipment, valued at approximately 34 million Afghanis, includes both food and non-food items.
