A total of seven people, including two doctors, were dead and three others were wounded in a deadly traffic accident in the Dolat Shah district of Laghman province, in the eastern part of the country. The accident took place today Saturday, November 5 in the Farshghan Valley area of the Dolat Shah district of Laghman province.
Salamat Khan, the spokesman of the Taliban governor for Laghman province, says that a Surf-type vehicle carrying employees of a health centre deviated from the road and then overturned.
According to him, seven people, including a male doctor and a female doctor, died and three others were wounded as a result of this incident.
Recently, traffic accidents have increased in provinces across the country.
Last night Friday, November 04, following a traffic accident on the Salang highway, three people, including women and children, died and eight others were wounded. Narrow roads, speeding and drivers disobeying traffic rules are said to be the reasons for the increase in traffic accidents.
