A Large Madrasa Foundation Laid in the West of Kabul

Bakhtar News Agency, which operates under the control of the Taliban, reported yesterday that the foundation stone of a large religious school was laid in the Dasht-e Barchi area, PD13, in the west of Kabul city.

According to this report, Mawlawi Neda Mohammad Nadim, the Taliban governor of Kabul, inaugurated this religious school yesterday, Thursday, October 13, 2022, in the 13th district of Kabul.

Bakhtar News Agency has tweeted that this religious school named “Jamia Rahimia” will be built on eight acres of land. This agency has not provided more details about this religious school.

This is even though since the Taliban regained control of Afghanistan in August last year, this group has focused more on establishing and constructing religious schools across the country.

Currently, girls above the sixth grade are deprived of going to school and learning education. Still, the Taliban have announced that they will build large religious schools in all country districts.
