784 cases of Covid-19 reported in Afghanistan

An official record shows that 784 people have tested positive for coronavirus and 25 patients, who were infected by the virus, have died in Afghanistan. Today, Wednesday, April 15, the Ministry of Public Health confirmed 70 new cases of Covid-19 in the last 24 hours, with which the total number of Covid-19 cases reaches 784.

As many as 63 patients have recovered, according to Afghan health authorities.

On the other hand, the security authorities have tightened restriction on movement in the capital Kabul and other major cities of Herat, Kandahar, Nangarhar and Mazar-e-Sharif. The capital is under a tight lockdown and public movement has restricted.

The pandemic coronavirus took the world by a shock. So far, over two million people have tested positive for Covid-19, and more than 120,000 of patients, who were infected by the virus, have died.

The United States is now the hardest hit country in the world with 615,406 cases confirmed in the country and 26,164 infected people have died of the pandemic disease.
