Taliban kill nine security forces in Farah and four civilians in Faryab

As many as nine Afghan security forces were killed after their checkpoint came under a Taliban attack in Pusht Rud district of the western Farah province, an MP who represents Farah province in the Afghan parliament confirmed.

Abdul Sattar Hosseini, an MP, said today, Monday, January 11, that the incident took place in Madigan Hill area of Pusht Rud district.
