Violent clash over land dispute leaves four dead in Samangan

At least four people were killed and one injured in a land dispute on Saturday in Laileya Chahar Qeshlaq village of Dara Suf Bala district of Samangan province.

According to local sources, the deadly clash erupted after an argument.

A community elder, identified as Akbar Khojeyen and three others were killed during the clash.

The perpetrator, according the source, fled the area.

Taliban officials in the are have not commented.
