Afghanistan Freedom Front claims killing three Taliban fighters in rocket attack

Anti-Taliban group Afghanistan Freedom Front (AFF) claims that its forces have killed three Taliban fighters and wounded four in a rocket attack in Kapisa province.

In a tweet on Tuesday, the AFF said that it had launched a rocket attack on a Taliban military position at provincial building at 1 am.

Earlier, the National Resistance Front (NRF) claimed that its forces had killed and wounded 25 Taliban fighters in a 10 hour firefight in Khost district of Baghlan province.

The AFF and the NRF are the two major known armed anti-Taliban groups operating in Afghanistan.

On 16 April, the AFF confirmed the death of one of its most senior commanders, Akmal Ameer, by the Taliban.
