A suicide attack targeted the money exchange market in Jalalabad, in the eastern Nangarhar province today, December 6. The explosion took place around 2:00 PM and left dozens wounded. The health agencies in the city confirmed that at least 9 wounded have been taken to the hospitals.
Eyewitnesses in the city said that a number of people were killed or wounded in this explosion.
However, the officials at the Nangarhar regional hospital confirmed that nine people have been wounded and taken to the hospital.
The Taliban security officials in Nangarhar have not commented in this regard as of yet.
This is the second explosion taking place in Jalalabad this week. A few days ago, a mine explosion in a pharmacy in the Daramsal region of this city left six people wounded.
Today, in Mazar-e-Sharif, as many as 15 commuters were killed after a roadside bomb targeted a bus carrying employees of the petroleum department of Hairatan port in Balkh province, a health source confirmed to Kabul Now. The incident took place in the limits of the 3rd district of this province.
