NRF claims killing 3 Taliban members in separate attacks

Anti-Taliban armed group, the National Resistance Front (NRF) has claimed killing three Taliban soldiers and injuring one more in separate attacks in three provinces of Afghanistan.

In a press statement released today, the NRF said that the attacks were carried out by its forces in Nuristan, Laghman, and Nangarhar provinces.

The Taliban has not yet commented on the attacks.

The NRF has been engaged in a guerrilla war against the Taliban in the northern and northeastern provinces of Afghanistan since the Taliban’s return to power in August 2021.
