Locals in the Kuz Kunar district in the eastern province of Nangarhar say that Taliban forces have killed a bride at a checkpoint.
The incident occurred when the car carrying the bride and groom was stopped by Taliban soldiers for playing loud music. The soldiers killed the bride at the checkpoint.
According to locals, the bride was shot dead after an argument erupted over music.
Local Taliban officials have confirmed the incident and said an investigation was underway.
