Local sources in Ghor province report to Kabul Now that a young girl and a teenage girl committed suicide in the Center and Taywara district of this province.
The source adds that the girl who committed suicide in Taywara was 18 years old and a resident of Dehtayi village in this district. She hanged herself on Saturday, December 17 and ended her life. The reason behind the suicide was family violence, reported the source.
At the same time, sources report that a 13-year-old girl committed suicide in the Dar-e-Qazi area of Firozkoh city, the center of Ghor province.

The Taliban officials in Ghor province have not said anything about these suicides as of now.
There has been a rise in the number of youths committing suicide across the country.
In a very recent case, a 19-year-old girl in Daikundi committed suicide by hanging herself and ended her life. She was accepted at Balkh University to pursue Journalism and she wanted to be a journalist.
