Afghanistan reports 321 new Covid-19 cases

As many as 321 people tested positive for Covid-19 over past 24 hours in Afghanistan, the Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) said today, Sunday, December 13.

With 57 new positive cases, Kabul stands on the top of the list. Kapisa records 49, reporting the second largest number in the country, and Herat with 28 cases stands the third most hit city. Kandahar records 20, Balkh 36, Baghlan 34, Nangarhar 14, Takhar 08, Paktia 05, Parwan 12, Nimruz 05, Daikundi 05, Ghazni 12, Logar 03, Wardak 07, Helmand 06, Laghman 03, Kunar 01, Zabul 09 Uruzgan 03, Faryab 03 and Nuristan 01.

Figures by the MoPH shows that a total of 49,273 positive cases have been recorded in Afghanistan, 1,971 Covid-19 patients have passed away, and 38,384 others have recovered.
